Director of Operations
Early in my financial services career, I discovered serving clients was my passion. I am blessed to work with a group of people who share this same value. I have spent the last ten plus years in financial services specializing in operations and client service.
My passion for serving others carries over outside the firm as an active member of the Junior League of Dallas.
I am a proud graduate of Texas A&M University and enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching sports, reading, and anything outdoors.
Financial Advisor
I grew up on a farm near Lamesa, TX, and graduated from Texas Tech University. I started my lessons in finance early with 4H participation. My dad took me to the bank at nine years old to borrow money to buy show animals, then after the season and sales, back to the bank to pay off the loan. I developed a love of business and finance.
I had a very enriching corporate career working with CPA’s, Attorneys, and CIO’s both in private practice and with corporations. Because of their stories of client situations and my dad suffering significant losses from a transactional broker that fueled my passion for making a positive impact with integrity for people with their financial decisions and keeping them out of the hands of ill advice.
I have successfully managed family finances for many years and have both insurance AXA Equitable and large wirehouse background of Morgan Stanley and RBC. I am pleased to be with an Independent RIA to have the broadest of resources with no bias toward any company products for families and business owners. I value comprehensive planning and strategy to set the course for clarity and confidence for your financial future.
Financial Advisor
I have been a registered investment advisor with Worth Asset Management since its founding. I have a different clientele than most financial advisors. The majority of my clients are over the age of 75 years. They require professional insight to preserve their assets and the integrity of their estate plan in the midst of receiving long-term care.
I founded The Hale Law Firm in 2006, providing estate planning, probate, trust administration, and business transaction services. Within a few years, the firm grew to become a boutique elder law firm, emphasizing long-term care financing and assisting with senior housing and care options.
I am a graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law, and I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance at Baylor University. My wife, Candice, and I have three children – Samantha, Madelyn, and John Thomas.
Investment Officer
Mr. Stewart has been in the financial services profession for more than twenty-five years and is an Investment Officer of Worth Asset Management. Mr. Stewart leads Worth’s investment committee, whose responsibilities include securities identification, analysis and selection, portfolio design and implementation, and performance tracking.
Jim is an alumnus of the University of Texas at Dallas, having graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematical Sciences with a statistics concentration.
Jim has three successful adult children, Gabrielle, Kennedi, and Jett. Jim enjoys coaching boys club volleyball in his free time, winning two gold & one bronze medal at Junior Olympic National Championships.
Financial Planner
I have worked in the financial services industry for over 15 years and have spent the last 10 years working as a planner in the Dallas area. Prior to financial services, I taught elementary school in Maryland, where I was lucky enough to meet my wife, Leila. We live in Frisco and have two daughters. During my free time, I enjoy traveling with my family, exercising, and hiking the National Parks.
As a financial planner, my philosophy is rooted in my experience as a teacher, where I learned early on in my professional career the importance of explaining complicated concepts in understandable terms. My passion is to work with a select group of clients to help them achieve their financial goals with confidence and clarity.
I earned my B.A. in Education at the State University of New York and my MBA in Finance from Saint Joseph’s University. Additionally, I am proud to be a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM, Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP), Chartered Retirement Plan Counselor (CRPC), and a Certified College Financial Consultant (CCFC).
Financial Planner
I graduated Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Dallas with a degree of Bachelor of Science in business administration with a major in accounting. Having been in the financial services industry for more than 30 years, I first began managing client’s portfolios in 1994, earning Dean Witter’s National Sales Director’s Award while holding registrations as a registered representative, registered investment advisor and licensed insurance agent.
Utilizing my background in these disciplines, I advise individuals, families, and businesses in a broad range of financial matters with expertise in investment portfolio management, retirement, tax, estate, and business succession planning in addition to pension plan and trust design.
Before joining Worth Asset Management in 1998, I served as Senior Vice President for Bank of New York subsidiaries Pershing LLC until founding my own registered investment advisory firm, Harbor Wealth Management, Inc, from 2009 to 2021.
I live in Prosper with my very best friend and wife, Lisa. We have two daughters and enjoy spending time with our precious grandchildren. A Texas outdoorsman at heart, my daily hobbies include managing our fruit orchard, vegetable gardens, and beehives.
Managing Director
I owe my career in the securities industry to a mentor, the brokerage firm manager in Lubbock, Texas, where I opened my first account as a junior in high school. I developed a love of the stock market and wanted to share my stocks’ analytics with others since that time. I have been managing client’s portfolios since 1983 when I moved to the Dallas area.
From 2011 to 2020, I was the majority owner and registered principal of Worth Financial Group, a Dallas based Broker-Dealer and Registered Investment Advisor. I am a co-founder, managing member, and investment advisor with Worth Asset Management since its inception in 2013.
I live in Frisco with my beautiful wife, Julie. We have two daughters who live in Dallas, and we love spending time with them, our son-in-law, and our grandchildren. My hobbies are golf, tennis, and hunting feral hogs that are a real nuisance to area farmers and ranchers.
Financial Planner
My mission in life is to serve my clients holistically. To me, this means addressing every area of financial planning, including tax, estate, education, retirement, insurance, and investments. As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) Practitioner, they are all equally important.
From my four years of active ARMY in the Infantry and my experience during two major economic recessions, I always strive to avoid significant losses. “Hope for the best but prepare for the worst.”
My planning philosophy is that no one wants their financial life to be complex, so I make financial topics simple. My goal is to educate people to understand their financial picture and how it all fits together efficiently. I am passionate about helping people understand their financial vision and turn it into a reality.
My wife Natalie, a first-grade teacher, and I have been married for over 21 years with twin girls in college (War Eagle! & Sic ‘em Bears!). Now that we are empty-nesters, our time is spent traveling anywhere and everywhere together simply for new experiences. Outside of my faith and my family, I enjoy outdoor smoking and grilling.
